The swimmers raced at a high standard over the course of the weekend with many performances that have improved on the swimmers national ranking. There were 69 individual swims with 26 personal best performances.
6 swimmers qualified for the afternoon finals session with representation in 13 finals. The conversion rate was over 50% with 7 swims faster in the afternoon.
For the first time in 6 years the club entered into the team relay events at the Regionals. The Regionals acts as the qualifier for the National teams in which the 30 fastest teams across Britain will qualify. 5 teams were entered in the relay events and they raced very well together with some individual PB performances included. The teams have put themselves in a great position to qualify for the British Nationals in July.
