It has been a busy two weeks of racing for the YCBC swimmers who have been competing at the Yorkshire Swimming Winter Competition 2024. The first weekend saw the swimmers aged 13 years and over compete at Leeds on the 12-13th October and the second weekend for the 9-12 years swimmers competing at Sheffield on the 19th-20th October.
The combined PB % across both competitions was 69% and a total of 18 medals were won (up from 11 in 2023).
There were many new short course regional times achieved over the two weekends and the Swim England North East Regional Championships are fast approaching. They will be taking place over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd November in Sheffield and there will be a strong contingent of YCBC swimmers ready to swim fast.
