Four swimmers from York City Baths Club were part of a Yorkshire team that won the 2015 ASA National Masters and Senior Inter Counties Competition.

The YCBC Executive Committee is delighted to announce that Jennifer Hodgson has been appointed Lead Coach of Development Squad, with effect from Monday 4th January 2016.

Emma Wills picked up four gold medals whilst representing York City Baths Club at the ASA National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships 2015, held in Sheffield on 23rd October 2015.

The YCBC Executive Committee is delighted to announce that the Club has recently engaged Shelley Postchild in the new role of Teaching Co-ordinator.

Two swimmers from York City Baths Club competed in the ASANER Masters Championships (25m), held at The Harrogate Hydro on Sunday 27th Sepember 2015.

Jason Robson was recently selected to swim for the North East at the English Schools’ Swimming Association (ESSA) 66th Inter-Division Championships, which were held in Leeds over the weekend of the 3rd/4th October 2015.

On 20th September 2015, over 50 swimmers from York City Baths Club travelled to Ponds Forge, Sheffield, for the Rotherham Metro Graded Short Course Meet. They competed against 27 other clubs, and won 78 medals and 4 speeding tickets between them. Ten swimmers also achieved new ASANER qualifying times.

Emma Wills was victorious at the ASA National Masters Open Water Championships, held at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield, on the 2nd August 2015. Emma won the 35 to 39 years age group 3km swim and finished as the third fastest female overall in a time of 42 minutes and 32 seconds.

Sixteen swimmers from York City Baths Club’s National Squad and two coaches, Mark Sheldrick and Anna Nicholson, are attending a parent inspired and organised training camp at the Crol Centre, Calella, Northern Spain, between Saturday 29th August 2015 and Saturday 5th September 2015.
