York City Baths Club took a squad of 22 swimmers to the the 2014 ASANER Winter Short Course Championships, held at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre over the weekend of 6th and 7th December. We extend credit for their achievement of a solid 59% Personal Best (PB) record at this prestigious meet.

Three swimmers from York City Baths Club were part of a Yorkshire team that won the ASA National Masters and Senior Inter Counties Competition.

York City Baths Club swimmer, Emma Wills, came home with five medals after competing in five events in the British Gas ASA Nationals Masters and Seniors Short Course Championship 2014 in Sheffield in October.

York City Baths Club was represented at the Annual Doncaster Dartes, Swim-along-a-Santa, B/C Graded Meet by a Squad of 40 swimmers who took top honours by capturing the Top Club trophy from the other 17 participating Clubs.

York City Baths Club hosted their Annual Regional Qualifier Meet, at Ennerdale Leisure Centre, Hull on 1st/2nd November 2014.

York City Baths Club was represented by a squad of 28 swimmers at the recent B/C Grade Halloween Meet, hosted by South Axholme Sharks on Sunday, 28th October in Beverley. Amongst the cauldron of 19 competing Clubs, YCBC finished in a magical 6th place.

The Club would like to acknowledge the achievements of the following swimmers who gained Silver and Bronze Awards at the speed award events held in September 2014:

York City Baths Club swimmers produced some outstanding performances at the 2014 Yorkshire SA Winter Championships.

The club extends congratulations and best wishes to the following 42 children, who have gained qualifying times, enabling them to represent York City Baths Club at County Level in the Yorkshire SA Winter Short Course Championships on 11th/12th October 2014 at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

On Saturday 13th September, YCBC competitors and supporters gathered excitedly, and took the Team Coach to John Charles Sports Centre, Leeds to participate in the annual White Rose Junior League.
