Emma Wills picked up four gold medals whilst representing York City Baths Club at the ASA National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships 2015, held in Sheffield on 23rd October 2015.
Emma won gold in the 1500m, 800m and 400m freestyle as well as the 200m backstroke in the ladies 35-39 year age group. She also added to her medal haul with a silver medal in the 200m freestyle and a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke.
On the way to becoming a multiple national champion, Emma knocked 20 seconds of both her 1500m and 800m freestyle personal best times and finished as the fastest lady across all age groups in both events. Emma’s achievements cap off a highly successful year.
Michelle Jenks also competed in the gala in the 25-29 years age group. She swam two personal best times, finishing 8th in the 200m backstroke and 19th in the 100m individual medley.
