YCBC swimmer Nathan Carrington competed in 6 races at the Great Britain Deaf Swimming Championships Loughborough University. Nathan had a amazing meet winning a fantastic 3 golds and 1 silver medal and also broke the GB Deaf Record for Under 11 50m BR.
The competition was part of a full weekend at Loughborough which also incorporated training sessions in the pool and on land where Nathan was able to train with other deaf swimmers. The 100m events were open age group and Nathan was the only 11yr old to line up with Deaf Olympic medallists such as Jack McComish and Oliver Kenny.
