Leeds September Sprints Meet
Several members from Development, County, Regional, Junior Club and Club squads competed at City of Leeds’ September sprints meet. A small number were competing at their first open meet with many participating in their first long course competition.

YCBC swimmers in action at Rotherham Metro meet in Sheffield
Swimmers from all six of training squads at YCBC were in action at the Rotherham Metro A/B Graded meet over the weekend of the 6th-7th July in Sheffield.
YCBC triumph in Duel Meet against Tadcaster
On Wednesday 26th June at St Peter’s School, YCBC hosted a duel meet against Tadcaster Swimming Club. A number of very strong individual and team performances helped to seal a victory for the York swimmers with 167 points against Tadcaster’s 102 points.
YCBC Swimmers heading to the Summer Nationals
Following over two months of tough competition at Level 1 meets between the 22nd of March and 27th of May the National Qualifying Window has now closed. The national qualifiers list has now been published and I’m delighted to report on the successes from our YCBC swimmers.
YCBC Swimmers hit the Doncaster Dartes’ B Grade meet
Several members from Junior Club, Development and County squads competed at Doncaster Dartes’ B grade meet at Adwick Leisure centre on the 2nd June.
Fantastic opportunity to raise funds for YCBC at York Racecourse.
We have been allocated a highways collection on a raceday, to take place on Wednesday 21st August, which is the first day of the Ebor Festival. YCBC will be the only authorised collection on that date, making this a great opportunity to raise a significant amount of funds for YCBC.
Five of the YCBC squads competed at the Rotherham Metro Long Course Springtime Meet over the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May.
The swimmers took home 24 Medals and recorded a very impressive 155 PBs out of 228 swims.
19 YCBC Swimmers from National and Club Squad competed in the Swim England North East Regionals at Sheffield on the 4th and 5th of May
The swimmers raced at a high standard over the course of the weekend with many performances that have improved on the swimmers national ranking. There were 69 individual swims with 26 personal best performances.
