The weekend of 25th – 27th October 2013 saw the British Gas National Masters and Senior Age group Short Course Championships held at Sheffield, where competitors competed across all swimming events. The event produced many British, European and even World records for masters swimmers showing what a high level of competition the event is.
Two swimmers from York City Baths Club masters section competed in a number of events, producing excellent results.
Pauline Foot competed in three events producing 3 PB’s; 7th 200IM, 11th 200 Free and 15th 50 Fly.
Emma Wills competed in five events gaining 2 gold medals in 800 and 1500 free, a silver in 400 free, and finishing 6th in 200 backstroke and 9th in 100 backstroke.
Well done to both swimmers for competing so well in such a strong competition.
