Over the course of the past two weeks fourteen swimmers from the National Squad have been in action at the two summer national championships. Please click read more to see the report from the championships.

British Summer Nationals

Six individual swimmers from National Squad competed at the British Summer Championships in Glasgow between 23rd-28th July in 17 events over the six day meet. There were also four relay teams who qualified in the relay events with all of them racing in the 14/16 years age group. In order to qualify, individual swimmers had to be in the top 24 in Britain and the teams in the top 30 at the end of the national qualifying window.

Swim England National Summer Meet

The final competition of the season for the YCBC swimmers was the Swim England National Summer Meet taking place from Wednesday 31st July to Sunday 4th August in Sheffield. Ten swimmers from National Squad qualified and competed. In order to qualify, swimmers had to be in the top 20 English athletes who were outside of the top 24 in Britain from the qualifying window between the start of March and the end of May.
