Over the weekend of the 17 and 18th of March thirty five members of the Club’s Development, Junior Club, County and Club Squads braved the wintry weather to compete at Richmond Dales SC Development Gala held at Billingham.

For many swimmers this was their first taste of competitive swimming against other clubs, and to put into practice all the skills and hours of training into a racing situation. The Coaching Team were very impressed with the positive attitude of the swimmers throughout the weekend, well done to all those who took part.

Out of 137 swims, 108 personal bests were achieved, an impressive 79%. The total medal tally was 45, 19 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze.
