After a long and tough three months of competing between the 1st of March and 31st of May the National Qualifying Window has now closed. The final qualifiers list has now been published and I’m delighted to report on the successes from our YCBC swimmers.
Twelve YCBC swimmers have qualified for the summer meets this year with a cumulative total of 35 swims, 15 in the British Nationals and 20 in the English Nationals.
The swimmers have worked exceptionally hard in order to achieve these tough qualification standards. They now have six to seven weeks to prepare for these upcoming competitions and are aiming to finish the season on a high note.
The British Summer Nationals take place from Tuesday 24th July to Sunday 29th July at Ponds Forge.
The Swim England Summer Nationals take place from Tuesday 31st July to Saturday 4th August at Ponds Forge.
