YCBC swimmers from National and Regional Squad competed at the Level 1 Burns Meet in Sheffield over the weekend of 27th and 28th January.
The purpose of the meet was to give the swimmers an opportunity to experience a long course competition and practice their race strategies after the first two weekends of the upcoming Yorkshire Championships were changed to a short course competition. After a hard block of January training, the swimmers produced some fantastic technical performances with 70% of the swims as new best times and a number of new regional qualifying times.
